How to compare fashion sale prices without losing the saving
Understand percentage discounts, delivered cost, product differences and sale conditions before buying.
Set a delivered-price budget
Decide what you can spend before browsing a sale. Leave room for delivery and, where relevant, tailoring or alterations. Spending extra to reach a free-delivery threshold is only a saving if the additional items were already useful to you.

Separate the percentage from the price
The discount percentage compares the listed original and sale prices. For example, an item reduced from Rs 4,000 to Rs 2,000 is 50% off. An item reduced from Rs 3,000 to Rs 1,800 is 40% off and still costs less. These are illustrative figures, not current offers.
Use percentage sorting when you want to explore deeper markdowns, and price sorting when your main constraint is budget. Neither measure alone tells you about fit, quality or how often you will use an item.
Compare like with like
Read what the price includes. A shirt, a two-piece set and an unstitched suit are different purchases. Check the number of pieces, measurements, fabric and care requirements before comparing brands.
Treat words such as premium or luxury as descriptions to investigate rather than specifications. Look for concrete product information. Hilights does not independently test garment quality, and a larger discount is not a quality rating.
